For productions

From the first call to the last hire

DUKE-CAST is made by a production company, for the way a casting and a team are actually put together.

In four steps

How a casting runs.

  1. Create the project

A full sheet: format, genre, dates, place, status. Public or not.

  2. Add the roles

Age range, languages, pay, conditions, deadline.

  3. Receive and compare

Applications sorted by round, takes side by side, notes at the timecode.

  4. Decide as a team

Opinions, history, a PDF dossier. A person always takes the decision.

The team

Everyone has their place in the team.

Rights are given per project and per organisation.

Read
Reads the sheet, the roles and the applications.
Review
Also adds notes and opinions.
Edit
Also edits the roles, decides and contacts the candidates.
Manage
Also publishes, manages the team and confirms the credits.

The crew

Build the crew in the same place.

Position by position, you see what is filled and what is vacant. Invite someone directly, or publish an ad for the position.

See the crew directory

No bad surprises

A careful way of working with people.

  • Pay conditions are displayed on each casting call, paid or unpaid.
  • Publication passes through a review when a call shows signs of a scam.
  • Self-tapes and documents stay private, through links that expire.
  • No automatic ranking, no score on appearance or performance.
