Who is responsible
DUKE, 25 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris.
What we collect
Your account (name, e-mail address, password stored as a hash), your profile and what you add to it, your applications and messages, your self-tapes and documents, your calendar, and what is needed to protect the site (reports, blocks, a security log).
What it is for
To run the service: show your page according to your settings, send your applications to the teams concerned, let a team work on its casting, and protect members against abuse. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Your files
Self-tapes and application documents are private: they are opened through signed links that expire. Certain sensitive texts are encrypted in the database. This protection is not end-to-end encryption: the service can read them to display them to you and to the people you address.
Who can see what
Your public page shows only the fields you made visible. An application is seen by the team of the project, according to each member's rights. Notes and opinions from a team stay inside the team. Moderators see what is needed to handle a report.
Service providers
Hosting: to be completed. E-mails: Brevo or Resend, depending on the configuration. Calendar: Google, only if you connect it yourself. Payment: none today.
How long
Your data is kept as long as your account exists. Retention periods are yet to be set and validated; no automatic deletion is in place at this stage. Deleting your account erases your DUKE-CAST data and files, except what the law or another DUKE site requires us to keep.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability. You can download your data and delete your account from your settings. For anything else, write to casting@duke-production.com (contact address: to be confirmed). You may also complain to the CNIL.
Cookies
No audience measurement cookie and no advertising tracker. A session cookie when you are signed in, one for the chosen language, and one for the space you work in. Your light or dark theme is kept in your browser.
